Over
the past 30 years, Jim Milner has served as a company president,
nonprofit executive director, and senior consultant; operating,
managing, and servicing nonprofit organizations, for-profit
corporations and government agencies.
Statement of Experience Since
2004, Jim has been the President and CEO of Urban Strategies, US, LLC,
a Milwaukee-based consulting firm. Jim is an instructor and guest
lecturer for: National Business Institute, University of Wisconsin –
Milwaukee School of Continuing Education, Alverno College Iowa
University, Marquette University
Jim consults with public
and private workforce development efforts and has created a network of
consultants who serve as coaches and technical assistance providers to
for-profit and nonprofit corporations and government agencies.
Jim’s
core competencies include: enterprise planning, and developing
diversity systems that support the implementation of internal and
external Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies, and Human
Resource (HR) compliance.
Jim’s industry success includes
the integration of team-based tactics and coordinated corporate
collaborations across sectors including nonprofit and government
organizations. He has developed training curricula and facilitated
instructional workshops for workforce opportunities for Milwaukee’s
